Underglaze

Usually, I don't prefer underglaze. The colors of underglaze are a little bit childish.
In this piece, I tried to use underglaze to present the graceful pattern. It's a trial.

  1. Lights from one side of the cup will produce the gradient variation.

Your hand is very smooth to produce these curve patterns on the cup. :) I think you are a great calligrapher, am I right?

  2. Wow! You are good at reading people.
I used to be very good at calligraphy. After my wrist was hurt in college, I gave it up.
I have thought of practising it again in my retirement years.

  3. You are indeed a very talented person. :) I used to practice calligrapher a lot before college years, stopped for various reasons. Not sure I can go back to where I used to be, though. I did observed some of the left-over benefits of calligraphy, one of which is drawing even, smooth, and continuous curves, which you have shown on that cup. Bravo's!
